Our loyal friend the T-shirt is back on the fashionistas’ wish list. Levi’s® lead the way with their Haapaniemi Tee

Published on February 8th 2007.

Tee up

Every so often, glammy yet outrageously impractical clothing gets tossed aside for the effortlessly stylish.

This season, the T-shirt has made a welcomed comeback to the fashion world with the new breed of Hollywood starlets like Lyndsay Lohan and Mischa Barton sporting a more casual but equally as enviable look.

Levi’s® are hot on the case of the Tee with their collaboration with world famous graphic designer Klaus Haapaniemi to produce a much sought after illustrative t-shirt collectionfor guys and girls as part of the S/S 07 Levi’s® Red Tab® range.

Klaus has taken his inspiration from the Scandinavian landscape to produce surreal and gothic fairytale images with digital distortion. Sounds slightly mad, but you know what they say – there’s a fine line between genius and insanity.

Klaus Haapaniemi’s previous work has appeared in Selfridges window displays, ‘Christmas Stories’ a Cancer Trust book, featuring tales written by celebrity ambassadors such as Madonna's daughter, Lordes Leon, Jamie Cullum and Sharon Osbourne and he is also a regular contributor to the Observer Magazine. We are not worthy.

Levi’s® Happaniemi Tees are available in store now.
