Ah yes Christmas. Excellent fun.
With all the merriment in town it's easy to forget that lots of that present fun continues until the New Year and beyond.
If you've not had a look-see yet then until 3 January 2010 Piccadilly Snow Gardens will be a feature in the largest public space in the city.
There's a lot going on in this jamboree of winter solstice jollity too.
You can take the family to visit Santa, then frolic in the enchanting and frankly a bit bizarre Snow Globe - “Dad, I like that a lot, can we do it again?” one young Confidentialer said.
There's also the Snow Slide for those who like going downhill fast or you can brave the Bungydome for a bouncing thrill in the chill.
For the kids there's Santa in his Magical Arctic House – as good-looking a grotto as you can imagine. In the Arctic House the big man with the beard will read a story and then give the children a gift.

Anonymous, you've clicked on an old link, we've put up more than twenty stories this week, five today. Still pay the tenner a month though.
If I give you my tenner a month will you promise to update your site a bit? Today is Jan 7th and your lead event is the Snow slide which closed on te 3rd. Btw, I half expected to see "Snow Slide closed due to snow." from the Health and safety crew who are out today knocking down snowmen as a possible health hazard. (or is that a bit of urban myth?)
