Mother’s Day Dining At City Café

FOR Mother’s Day this year, why not treat your mum to a fine-dining experience at the lovely City Café in the DoubleTree by Hilton?

You'll enjoy a three-course meal with a glass of champagne on arrival for just £22.95pp. What’s more – children under eight eat free.

City Café is a critically-acclaimed restaurant close to Piccadilly Station. Enjoy al fresco dining on the terrace, or step inside to the welcoming, softly-styled dining room.

Head chef Michael Campbell is committed to sourcing ingredients locally and responsibly to produce delicious and innovative food. Mum will not be disappointed.

The Mother’s Day menu is available on 10 March 2013 between 1pm and 3.30pm. Advance booking is strongly recommended. Please call City Café on 0161 242 1020, quoting ‘Manchester Confidential’, to reserve your table.

Starters

Mushroom velouté, truffle cream

Chicken terrine, pistachios, prune puree

Smoked salmon eggs Benedict, hollandaise sauce

Main course

Roast rib eye of beef, Yorkshire pudding, duck fat roast potatoes, horseradish cream

Pan fried sea bass, Lyonnaise potatoes, fennel puree, prawn and herb sauce

Brocolli and stilton tart, buttered spinach

Desserts

Dark chocolate cheesecake, poached strawberries

Sticky toffee pudding, rum and raisin ice-cream, toffee sauce

Selection of cheese, biscuits, and fruit chutney
