Manchester set for 24 hour live music event

Manchester is set for a full day of top music with Carling Live 24 bringing some of the biggest names around to the city.

May 28th 2005 will go down as the day the Doves, Elbow, Ian Brown and Chemical Brothers all played the city across a number of different venues.

The event, which started last year in London, is also taking place in the capital in April, before expanding up to Manchester a month later. Venues getting involved include The Roadhouse, Manchester Ritz, Blueprint Studios, Carling Apollo and Manchester Academy.

If you want to get involved in the bank holiday weekend event, tickets are going to go on sale on Friday 18th March on www.carlinglive.com from 9am.
