If you’ve been watching England trying to get through the quarter finals then you’ll no doubt be in need of burning off some post-match energy. We have the answer...
Join thousands of other revellers on the stroke of midnight as they take to the city’s streets from Manchester Central for a night to remember. The city’s original, exciting night-time event, the Manchester Midnight Walk, is back for the fourth year on Friday 2 July.
All the walkers are raising money for St Ann’s Hospice, one of the largest adult hospices in the UK.
Hospice patron and England’s ‘winning tenor’ Martin Toal (who by this stage will have his bags packed ready to fly to South Africa to sing our boys to victory in the final of the World Cup) will be there on the night to also sing out team St Ann’s.
The walk will take a 10k route through Manchester’s city centre, past some of its best-known landmarks including the start point, Manchester Central, Granada Studios, the MEN Arena and the Cathedral, giving walkers the opportunity to see their city in a new light.
It’s not too late to join in the fun – register now for just £15, or a special rate of £8 for those aged 11-17. For more information and to register visit manchestermidnightwalk or call 0161 498 3631.
