Lady Boys of Bangkok Set For Manchester Return

AFTER a hit tour in 2010, the world-famous Lady Boys of Bangkok are set for a return to Manchester with their new show, Fur Coats and French Knickers.

The dance troupe, made up of 16 of the world's most beautiful show-girls (who just happen to be men) have announced plans for two weeks of shows from 1 to 16 July.

Manchester Confidential readers can get £10 off Lady Boys of Bangkok tickets here making prices start at just £7.

The troupe, drawn from the infamous Bangkok night life, promises a unique entertainment experience, including cabaret, comedy and ‘raunchy capers’ as well as performances of hits from some of pop’s more outrageous stars such as Katy Perry and Lady Gaga. At the Manchester show there will also be fresh Thai food and the opportunity to meet and have pictures with the Lady Boys.

Img_2261The show’s director, Phillip Gandey, said, “To top last year’s shows was an enormous challenge. But I’m convinced that this year’s all-new show will take your Lady Boys of Bangkok experience to another level. Fur Coats and French Knickers contains more surprises than ever before.”

After a successful spell at Sackville Street, the show has moved to a new location on First Street, near Deansgate Locks and opposite the Hacienda Apartments.

First Street was selected as the cabaret venue because of its size, ample parking, transport links and proximity to bars and restaurants.

According to the promoters, the show promises to entertain like nothing before, with 'immaculate make up, a glittering array of designer-inspired hand-sewn outfits, show-stopping choreography and the sexy, but never vulgar performance that is The Lady Boys of Bangkok.'
