Hold your next meeting at the Chinese Arts Centre

The Chinese Arts Centre is the international agency for the promotion and development of Chinese Arts. In its building on Thomas Street in the Northern Quarter, you'll find a gallery, a tea house, a shop, a resource space, and a rather lovely corporate function suite. If you're looking for a distinctive, creative environment to hold your next meeting, training day or event, check it out. Throughout May and June, they're offering Manchester Confidential readers free equipment hire with each booking.

First off, the technical details: the Jasmine Suite is fully equipped to deal with today's AV requirements, and has internet access and a hearing-loop. The room is spacious (approximately 88 square metres) and allows seating of up to 50 people, dependent on the seating arrangement. The room can also be divided in two using a sound-reducing acoustic wall.

Location-wise, it's very accessible, being a short walk from Piccadilly and Victoria train stations and close to two NCP car parks. There is also pay and display parking opposite the building. Catering is available, including breakfast, lunch and dinner. The dim sum menu is a popular choice.

It's a very professional set-up, and it's the kind of venue that people will remember and look forward to visiting. You can have a guided tour of the centre before you book your event, and the general manager, Cloudy Tan, will help you with any requirements. Call her on 0161 832 7271 for more information.
