Start moving on up with Elevation’07. Not a conference more of an event, this is where more than 350 owner–managers and directors from across Manchester and the North West will fill New Century House on 26th April.
This is the fifth conference and is jointly hosted by Worsley-based Champion Accountants, and Manchester law firm, George Davies Solicitors. The conference is billed as ‘the business conference for people who hate conferences’ but don’t worry law and accountancy aren’t on the agenda.
This year the keynote speaker, champion rower, Sir Matthew Pinsent will be sharing his experiences. He will be joined by James Timpson, MD of Timpson Limited, the national shoe repair, key cutting and engraving specialists which originated in Manchester. Other speakers include Chris Hughes, motivational guru and Dennis Turner, City economist. Hosted by Granada Tonight’s Lucy Meacock and with a wine quiz from local wine expert Charlie Womersley this is definitely a conference with a twist.
“The day promises to be one delegates will not forget in a hurry.” says Champion MD, Ged Cosgrove. “It’s like no other business conference I have ever attended. The entire day is about taking a step back, rediscovering your enthusiasm and learning ways in which you can take your business to the next level.” Cosgrove added.
