Have you arranged your office Christmas party?

If you have, we bow down before your superior organisational skills. If not, how about booking a festive celebration at Renaissance Manchester Hotel?

Published on September 3rd 2008.

Have you arranged your office Christmas party?

We've been to some pretty dire office parties in our time. A few bowls of sad-looking peanuts in a dark basement bar. A function room with a plastic Christmas tree in a health club off the M56. This is what happens if your organiser is slow off the mark. They get left with the dregs of the venues and party packages on offer.

They've got a team dedicated to arranging these events so you'll have a really special night out without having to do a lot of organising yourself.

If you get your act together now, you could enjoy something a great deal more pleasant and festive come Christmas time. At Renaissance Manchester Hotel, they do Christmas parties properly with good food and good wine in a luxurious setting that really creates a sense of occasion.

They offer a range of organised celebrations, from intimate dinner parties, to big champagne receptions, to traditional Christmas lunches. You can have a private party just for your workplace, or you can go for a 'mixer' party where you can mingle with people from other companies.

Renaissance Manchester Hotel is on Deansgate so it's easy to travel to and from. But if you really want to make a night of it, you can get a special deal on a room with a hearty breakfast to help cure the hangover. It might sound extravagant, but it will probably work out cheaper than paying the taxi bills for all those team members who commute from outside the city.

Accommodation starts at £85 per room and the prices for parties range between £29 and £39 per person which includes a three-course meal, plus a disco and DJ for evening events. The mixer parties also include a reception with entertainment from a magician. All in all, it's very reasonable considering Renaissance Manchester is a four star hotel in the city centre.

Extras like canapés, drinks receptions, and chocolate/champagne fountains are available for an additional cost. And they've got a team dedicated to arranging these events so you'll have a really special night out without having to do a lot of organising yourself. They've even got wine experts to help you choose your drinks requirements for the evening.

So if you want to avoid the horrors of a hastily thrown-together buffet in the photocopying room, fill out the form below. One of their events organisers will then give you a call to chat about your ideal festive get-together.
