The Cornerhouse is to play a key part in the storyline of Where are the Joneses? - the world’s first interactive online sitcom written by the public.
The sitcom allows the public to input every aspect of the show including storyline, characters and location and, as the series comes to a close, the public have decided to send the Joneses to Manchester. And they need your help.
The first 50 members of the public to arrive at the Cornerhouse on Wednesday 5 September at 4:30pm will be invited to attend filming between 5pm–7pm. The show will be shown at www.wherearethejoneses.com
Where are the Joneses? is produced by Baby Cow, the production company, co-founded by comic and actor Steve Coogan whose credits include Saxondale, Paul and Pauline Calf and Knowing Me, Knowing You... with Alan Partridge.
So far, the show has followed Dawn Jones who discovers that she is one of 27 siblings, fathered by the same sperm donor. Dawn sets out to find her other siblings and her first find was brother Ian. They fast became connected and set off across Europe searching for their other 26 siblings.
As Where are the Joneses? draws to a close, the public are invited to debate the biggest question of the series – who’s the daddy? The final episode will broadcast on Friday 7 September and will be full of revelations for the main characters Dawn and Ian.
