Elliot Eastwick’s World Famous Pub Quiz

Black Dog Ballroom hosts the alternative quiz night

Elliot Eastwick’s World Famous Pub Quiz

The ultimate quiz night has found itself a new home in the Northern Quarter. Thursday nights at Black Dog Ballroom will never be the same again.

Let’s just say it’s not your average pub quiz. Sure, there are questions and eventual winners, but Eastwick adds his own flair to the proceedings. Rules of cheating are pretty lax with Eastwick accepting it happens, but if you’re obvious enough to get caught he vows to disqualify you immediately.

Between questions, Eastwick has plenty to talk about. In previous incarnations, he's said everything he wasn’t allowed to say on his Revolution Radio show, and played the very last record at the Hacienda. If you like dark humour, ludicrous questions, and ill-advised challenges, give it a go.

As well as the quiz, Black Dog Ballroom continues to serve a range of quality food that won’t break your budget. Bringing the atmosphere of a New York Speakeasy to Manchester’s city centre, they serve burgers, salads and pizzas alongside their lengthy drinks list.

If you still want more then the venue’s pool tables will keep you entertained late into the night. Open until 4am, the bar sits beneath Afflecks Palace.

The quiz runs every Thursday night  for more details about the venue visit www.blackdogballroom.co.uk
