Electrik in Chorlton was one year old last week. On Thursday night they celebrated with a birthday party complete with nibbles and drinks.
Sleuth was in Ning in the Northern Quarter meeting up with some long lost friends so he missed this epoch defining bash hosted by the Unabombers who also own the place.
Sleuth was so cheesed off he couldn't make it he asked Justin Crawford of the dynamic duo to take some pics to slap up on Confidential to mark their first year milestone.
A bleary reply the next day spoke of corrupted memory cards in cameras. Right.
Must have been a good party.
Still the festivities continued over a long weekend, so here's some pictures of the jolly folk at Electrik partying on Saturday night like there's no tomorrow.
This cracking bar, a Chorlton gem, is turning up the heat in more ways than one over the coming weeks. There's also the 'Guestrant' event on 29 March in which Robert Owen-Brown will bemuse and delight the tastebuds in his usual fashion. This three course meal costs £25 and can be booked on info@electrikbar.co.uk
