Curry Week: Poppadom Challenge

Published on October 10th 2005.

14th October, 11.45am – 2.15pm
Great John Street Hotel

No, the challenge isn’t about eating as many poppadoms as possible, it’s a challenge to see who can become the World Record holder for the tallest stack of poppadoms. And if that wouldn’t be something to be proud of, then I don’t know what would.

Scope Curry Week is inviting Manchester businesses to enter teams of four people to build a poppadum tower in front of judges Lloyd Grossman and official Guinness World Record invigilators. The winner will be named in the Guinness Book of Records.

The challenge costs £100 for a team of four, including lunch. Fill out your details below if you are interested in registering a team.
