EXHIBITION
Are you pointing your finger at me? Three giant inflatables in the form of a pointing hand, a brick head and twisted settee will turn heads in The Lowry’s promenade gallery this May as part of The Giant Psychic Avatars of Salford created by Simon Grennan and Chris Sperandio. Inspired by the city and its people, the avatars (a concept from computer gaming where a player creates an iconic representation of the character they control) will represent the spirit of Salford as seen through the artists’ eyes.

The final Development at Mint Lounge will take place with special guest Benji B from BBC 1xtra and a special world renowned DJ guest from NYC. As one of the UK's leading exponents of soulful underground music, Benji B developed his taste and skills whilst working as Gilles Petersons radio show producer. He blends tunes from all genres of underground music – whether it be broken beat, hip-hop, house, garage, jazz, soul or Detroit techno.
