Barge parties

A bar on a boat. It's a simple idea but a good one. The Bohemia Barge is a canal boat that takes guests on a cruise around the waterways of Manchester while they chat, drink, and admire the ever-changing view of the city.

If you're planning a corporate event and want something that's guaranteed to get lots of interest from your invitees, this will do the trick.

As well as the fully-stocked bar, there's an entertainment system and high quality catering can be arranged on request. In other words, it's got everything you need for a party or event, with the major bonus of offering a totally new experience to most of your guests.

If you're planning a corporate event and want something that's guaranteed to get lots of interest from your invitees, this will do the trick. In the past, it's been used for product launches, music industry gatherings, entertaining clients, and office away-days. The team on board are accustomed to hosting big name companies so you can be assured of a professional, friendly service.

It's also a great option if you're planning a birthday party, a stag or hen weekend, or just want an evening out with your friends that'll you'll all remember.

The Bohemia picks up guests in Castlefield then slowly chugs it way along the Bridgewater Canal to Old Trafford and beyond. You can decide how far you want to travel – some cruises go into the heart of Cheshire before returning to the city centre. Whichever route you take, you'll have a magical evening on the water. The barge costs between £350 and £450 to hire and it can accommodate up to 60 people. It's available seven days and evenings a week. If you'd like to make a booking, just click here.
