Published on April 30th 2009.

All day gig and a pig

All three floors of the Deaf Institute are being taken over this Sunday, 3 May, with music events and a hog roast lunch in aid of a music therapy charity. The 'With a Little Help' campaign will take place in various venues around Manchester with this all day launch event featuring the best up-and-coming live acts on the scene and some very special headline guests.

From 2pm-2am, join Clint Boon, Up The Racket, Contort Yourself plus other DJs and a list of live bands including Suzuki Method, Dogshow and John Fairhurst – all in aid of the charity Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy.

The charity uses live musical improvisation to help improve the quality of life for children and adults isolated by conditions such as learning disabilities, autism, mental health problems, neurological damage or serious and terminal illnesses.
