Party the night away at The Club

Many people will be familiar with Bredbury Hall's long-running club nights. If they haven't actually been to one, they'll know someone who has.

Every Friday and Saturday, the 150 room hotel, restaurant and conference centre becomes the unlikely setting for one of the borough's best evenings out. Well-dressed revellers gather to drink and dance their way through the night in a converted sixteenth century barn, complete with six bars and a huge, usually packed, dance floor. Those with stamina then move on to the hotel bar for karaoke, with rounds of hot roast beef sandwiches* to keep them going until dawn.

At this point, many take a taxi home; party over. But until the end of January, Bredbury Hall's bed and breakfast deal means you can stay in one of their gorgeous rooms for only £29.95** per person, including free entrance to The Club. (The normal cost for bed and breakfast for two people starts at £104.50.)

All the rooms are very well-appointed, beautifully furnished, with en-suite bathrooms plus Sky TV and all the features you'd expect from a top, three-star hotel. There's also an award-winning restaurant with a Table d’Hôte menu which changes weekly and offers hotel residents three courses for £21. If you want to make a weekend of it, you can enjoy a traditional Sunday lunch in the restaurant, served from 1pm until late, for just £9.95.
