The final piece of the Manchester Christmas jigsaw has fallen into place with the now famous Christmas markets open up in Albert Square, St Ann's Square and Exchange Street.

They did not have enough staff serving on the beer tent on a busy Friday night, and the staff that were working had a bad attitude. They also cleared away drinks that people were still drinking without asking. Would not bother with this again this year.

Eight of us go away for the new year period to places like Prague, Budapest, Krakow and this year we hit Saltzburg. Most have the Christmas markets in full flow and the manchester one is as good as any we've been to (the one in Nuremburg is supposed to be the best).
