Former Emmerdale and Hollyoaks actor James Sutton officially launched his own pop-up acting company in the form of Broken Leg Workshops’ earlier this year and has now announced the dates for the workshops' Manchester launch.

The courses - which will run on 29th and 30th September at Studio Manchester, Hulme Street - are a unique alternative to drama classes with an emphasis on developing the skills needed for acting in front of a camera.

Each 2 day workshop aims to provide students with a thorough insight into the world of television acting and is suitable for anyone, regardless of prior acting experience.

Performing in front of top of the range camera equipment, students work on scripts, individually and in groups.  In addition, they also receive honest advice from Broken Leg Workshops’ team of professional actors and get the opportunity to perform in front of industry experts such as casting directors and agents.

Each course will give a great insight into techniques, on-set etiquette and a chance to act with some of Britain’s finest acting talent.

“Myself and the team cannot wait to take Broken Leg Workshops’ to Manchester”, states James Sutton. “We are extremely passionate about what we do and aim to help and support any budding Actors or Actresses trying to make it within TV and film”.

OscarOctober 19th 2012.

So, another big name comes to Manchester, and once again the farcical cock-up of selling ticket's results in predictably disappointed but worse - Utterly frustrated fans unable to get tickets but no doubt left with a hefty phone bill as their only reward.
Surely it can't be that hard to run a ticketing system that gives everyone a fair chance of getting their requested tickets without the endless hanging on the phone for 30 mins only to be told to re-ring the number you're talking on !
I'm sure my phone bill will add to someones profit so where's their incentive to change ?

What?October 19th 2012.

Seriously, what? Lost you completely there Oscar.
