WE'VE got good news for all you lot planning to attend The Long Night of the Biennial this Thursday (30th Nov).
Actually, we'd better just inform everybody else about it first.
For one night, art galleries and studios across Liverpool will be keeping their doors open until 11pm for an evening of alternative activity and performance events. Organisations taking part include The Bluecoat, The Walker, TATE and FACT (full list below)
And what’s the one thing that best complements a nocturnal feast of art, music and film?
Well it could only really be a lovely pie couldn’t it?!
And this is the best bit.
The first 50 Liverpool Confidential readers to PRINT THIS PAGE OFF and get their behinds down to The Walker Art Gallery on Thursday night, will not only get to appreciate some fine art but they’ll also get a free posh pie to nosh. And they are posh too, lots of home made varieties, including tasty vegetarian, created especially for the occasion, so none of your humble crumble. We would say they were upper crust, but they haven't got lids.
Organisations taking part in the Long Night this very Thursday (Nov 30) include:
Liverpool Biennial, the Bluecoat, FACT, Open Eye Gallery, Tate Liverpool, The Walker, A Foundation, Arena, BBC Big Screen, Black-E, Bluecoat Display Centre, The Bridewell Studios, CCP Car Park, Ceri Hand Gallery, Novas Contemporary Urban Centre, Curve Gallery, Dot-art, Georges Dock Building, Hope Street Project, Merseytunnels, Metropolitan Cathedral Crypt, Red Wire, The Royal Standard, Victoria Gallery and Museum, View Two Gallery, Wolstenholme Projects and 3345 Parr Street.

Thanks for the voucher for the free pie. Salmon and spinach I think it was. Lovely. Capped a fine evening at The Walker. That's twice I've ate courtesy of Liverpool Confidential now. I'm not averse to a 3rd helping if you're willing to oblige. Ben, Angie? Hope you're reading this!
