For this column in the months to come, in the spirit of creativity, I intend to mix things up a little. Not only will I be reviewing exhibitions held in public galleries, but ones held in privately owned spaces as well.
I want to know what you think about art, what artwork you have in your homes and what you would have if only your purse or wallet could stretch to it. So from time to time I'm going to be interviewing Manchester's more familiar faces and some not so familiar ones and finding out just what they really think about art.
Of course there will be an exhibition listing, but what I hope to do is seek out and find Manchester's undiscovered talent and give them some much-deserved exposure.
But for now, right now, what's on everyone's lips and in all the major public galleries in Manchester is 'British Art Show 6', and rightly so. Click here for this month's art column on British Art Show 6.
