Win tickets to Electric Elephant festival, Croatia

What are you doing on the weekend of 27-29 August? If the answer's not a lot, be sure to enter this competition to win tickets for Electric Elephant – the boutique music festival in Croatia, put together by the folks behind Electric Chair. Heck, even if you've got big plans already, you might as well enter. A weekend of beach parties, night clubs and live music on the Adriatic Coast, including travel there and back, is a hard offer to beat.

The music is a big part of it but there's loads of ways to wile away your time there: relax in the sunshine or beneath the pines, swim in the sea and dance into the night under moonlit skies amidst breathtaking surroundings.

Now in its third year, Electric Elephant is becoming a much-loved fixture on the festival circuit. The organisers describe it as 'an escape, an adventure, a musical getaway, and a meeting of like-minded souls set within the little whitewashed fishing village of Petrcane, Croatia.'

Live acts will include Fuck Buttons, The Phantom Band, Soundstream, Jesca Hoop, Plugs, Architeq, Table and Hannah Peel with more to be announced. DJs include Francois K, Andrew Weatherall, Juan Maclean (DFA), Don Letts, Todd Terje and of course, Electric Chair's own Unabombers. Check out the Electric Elephant website for the full line-up (click here).

The music is a big part of it but there's loads of ways to wile away your time there: relax in the sunshine or beneath the pines, swim in the sea and dance into the night under moonlit skies amidst breathtaking surroundings. A magical old boat called the Argonaughty sets sail twice a day with a couple of hundred revellers partying into the twilight, plus there’s late night cinema, The World Famous Pub Quiz and a massage area. The festival is kids friendly too, with an adventure playground, volleyball and tennis courts on site. It sounds amazing.

Tickets cost £80 not including travel or accommodation – there are details of cheap flights and camping on the Electric Elephant website. The winner will receive a pair of tickets plus coach travel to and from the event. The prize doesn't include accommodation but camping is only about £10 a night.
