Flavours, a stylish new restaurant on the border of Bury and Whitefield, is giving North Manchester curry lovers a new place to get their Indian and Thai food fix.
If you want a good quality Indian or Thai meal in a sophisticated setting in North Manchester, Flavours is recommended.
Their menu includes all the favourites from both cuisines plus a selection of more unusual additions that show their chefs know their stuff. When Confidential visited, a lamb hydrabadi – a subtle dish with hints of spinach, coriander and mint – impressed. For a starter, we enjoyed batata vada – another elusive dish in the UK. These little balls of spiced, fluffy mashed potato coated in chick pea batter were fantastic. The garlic duck on the specials board and the Thai green curry were other good choices.
It's a smart-looking place with a bar area for pre or post meal drinks, and a function room upstairs. They're going to start doing a set-priced buffet in there on Fridays and Saturdays when the restaurant downstairs tends to be full.
If you want a good quality Indian or Thai meal in a sophisticated setting in North Manchester, Flavours is recommended. It's easy to find – it's on Manchester Road, Whitefield where Est Est Est once was.
We've got a meal for four to giveaway at Flavours including wine. To be in with a chance of winning, click the button below.
