Win a year's worth of food at Tampopo

Tampopo want to take you on a virtual tour of East Asia that rewards the most adventurous eaters with free dishes from their menu. And they're giving Confidential readers a special offer that entitles you to your first freebie after just one visit.

It works like this. Next time you eat there, they'll give you a passport from the People's Republic of Tampopo with your bill. It'll have a stamp from one of the countries you 'visited' in your meal. Tampopo does cuisine from Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, The Philippines, Japan and Korea, so there are plenty of different places where you can stop off and get your passport stamped. Once you start collecting passport stamps, the freebies start rolling in:

2 stamps = free Miso Soup

3 stamps = free Gyoza

4 stamps = free Dessert

5 stamps = free Main dish

Then when you've got your five stamps and claimed your free main course, you'll be entered into a prize to win a year's worth of free Tampopo food for two. That's £60 worth of food vouchers a month for 12 months.

And, because you're a Manchester Confidential reader, Tampopo are giving you your first stamp for free – so you'll get two stamps on your first visit rather than one.

We like this offer, not only because it's a little bit bonkers, but because it encourages you to try new dishes rather than just sticking to what you know. Tampopo might be best known for its zingy fresh stir-fry meals, but it also does fantastic curries, salads, and some of the heartiest bowls of noodle-y soup you've ever seen. Their menu spans eight countries: that's eight different styles of cuisine and loads of different flavours to try.

Click here to get your voucher for a free stamp. Then get down to Tampopo to collect your passport and start exploring.
