Win a weekend pass to see The Who, The Zutons and more...

The Knowsley Hall Music Festival line-up is turning into a stellar supernova - and we've got two pairs of tickets to hand to two lucky readers

Win a weekend pass to see The Who, The Zutons and more...

When news broke that The Who, The Zutons and The Coral would be playing practically on the doorstep, thousands of people snapped up tickets, to witness this momentous event, within the first few hours of them going on sale.

But since then, the line up for the two-day Knowsley Hall Music Festival, taking place over the summer solstice weekend, has been getting bigger and stronger by the day.

Soon names like Shack, The Mighty Wah! The View, Keane, Joss Stone and Candi Payne signed up to perform at what is being billed as “the only Glastonbury alternative”. It's just outside Liverpool, and you don't need a tent!

Now, with under six weeks to go, even more of this summer's most hotly tipped new artists are to take their place on the bill for June 23 and June 24.

Knowsley HQ have just announced the latest stellar additions to the main stage of the festival, and they include The Thrills, Ross Copperman and local boys The Wombats.

The Wombats have been championed by the likes of Radio 1 and NME, and Zane Lowe described their single as the “hottest record in the world”. Last month they became the first unsigned band to sell out the 1,000-plus capacity Liverpool Carling Academy purely through word of mouth.

Ross Copperman broke records of his own when he made it to number 1 on iTunes with his download-only single, As I Choke. Meanwhile, hailing from Ireland, The Thrills are enjoying huge success since their second album, Let's Bottle Bohemia, unleashed their infectious, sound into the mainstream.

What with all these huge names, The Knowsley Hall Music Festival really is shaping up to be the unmissable music event of the summer (click here for full details of tickets and the line-up www.knowsleyhallmusicfestival.co.uk).

Now the very lovely organisers have given us two pair of weekend tickets, worth £140, as a special treat for two very lucky Confidential readers.

To be in with a chance of winning them, carefully answer the following question: Roger Daltrey is the singer in which band?

Type “The Who” into the answer box below. Fill in the rest and we could be sending a very excitable email your way soon.

Competition closes Friday June 15. Good luck!
