Join Al and Bet in this hilarious romantic adventure with star performances from Shobna Gulati and Joe McGann.

April in Paris was nominated for the Olivier Award for Comedy of the Year when it premiered in 1992 and features John Godber's unique brand of observational comedy. It tells the story of a marriage that's lost its spark, until a trip to Paris changes everything.

Al has recently lost his job, Bet works in a shoe shop and can only dream of a better life. When she wins a romantic night in the city of love, Al initially wonders who she'll take with her.

Bet reluctantly lets him come along and before long, they are both up to their necks in culture, clothes and croissants. Paris ignites their relationship like never before, but the reality of returning home always looms large.
