Win New Year's Eve At Mint Hotel Manchester

MINT Hotel Manchester is giving away a prize that could make this New Year's Eve your best yet.

One lucky reader will win dinner for two in City Café, an overnight stay in one of the hotel's luxurious rooms, and breakfast the following morning.

The dinner menu for NYE has already been confirmed. This five course feast, followed by coffee and handmade truffles, will be a meal to remember – the perfect way to celebrate the end of this year and the start of the next.

You'll be served a peach bellini on arrival at the restaurant which looks out over Piccadilly Plaza. After a demi tasse of veloute of white beans with smoked ham hock, you'll have a choice of delectable starters including crab and lobster cocktail, and duck ballotine.

SkyloungeFor your main, select from four fine choices including roast pheasant, fillet of turbot, aged fillet of beef and wild mushroom lasagne. After a pre-dessert of apple crumble and sorbet, you'll have four scrumptious sweets to try and choose between, including one called Chocolate! Chocolate! Chocolate! It's a bitter chocolate ‘after eight’ marquis with milk chocolate and passion fruit mousse, and white chocolate, raspberry and hazelnut parfait.

There'll be no stressful battle for a taxi home. Head to the hotel's bijou Blue Bar for post-dinner cocktails, or retire to your room to welcome in the New Year in private. Mint Hotel's rooms are spacious with ceiling-to-floor windows and luxurious touches such as White Company toiletries, super comfy beds and satellite television in case you want to watch the midnight celebrations across the world.

The following morning, you'll have breakfast at your leisure in City Café – an indulgent, relaxing start to 2012.

New Year's Eve dining at City Café costs £65 and rooms are available to book from £119 room only.
