Win Dinner From The Fromage Menu At 63 Degrees

A meal for two starring three classic French cheeses

Published on December 11th 2012.

Win Dinner From The Fromage Menu At 63 Degrees

The Moreau family who run French restaurant 63 Degrees in the Northern Quarter have come up with another winning menu idea.

All cheese is supplied by renowned French gastronomical market, Marché de Rungis

Their Fromage Menu, served Thursdays evenings, is a cheese-focused culinary treat. It's cheese for starter, main and dessert – but it's done so cleverly that you won't be cheesed off by the end of it.

5Ns0_OThis delicious three-course meal begins with the divine flavours of French onion soup topped with 24 month-aged comté.

It's followed by a mont d’or to share. This is a soft, oozing seasonal cheese that you can dip into or spoon over your accompaniments. Here it's served with steamed Ratte potatoes and a green salad.

The fromage feast ends with the superb matching of mille-feuille of pear and Roquefort.

There's no cheese course. That would be overdoing things.

All the cheese is supplied by renowned French gastronomical market, Marché de Rungis. For cheese fans, it's an experience not to be missed.

The Fromage Menu at 63 Degrees costs £28 per person and is served on Thursdays from 5.30pm to 10.00pm. Find out more on our 63 Degrees page.
