Win Cage Fighting Tickets!

WCFC - No Guts No Glory!

On March 18th, Manchester will play host to the first ever World Cage Fighting Championship. Yes, Cage Fighting. For those of you that are have no idea what I am talking about, let me explain…

Cage fighting is a little scary, and not for the faint hearted. It's bloody, and it's gory. Cage fighting is a mixed martial arts sport involving a combination of boxing, wrestling, kick boxing and jujitsu, although the distinctions between the sports are blurred, and so are the rules! You might not think it to watch the fighters throwing each other around the inside of a cage, but the sport actually involves quite a bit of talent and skill from the competitors.

The WCFC Championships, to be held this month at the MEN, will include an eight man tournament, two super fights involving the world's hardest heavyweights, and the battle of the M62 between Manchester's Ozzy Haluk and Liverpool's Terry Etim. In all, 20 fighters will be competing on the night, including UFC legend Jeff "the snowman" Monson who goes up against the Russian monolith Ibragim Magomedev. Each fight takes place inside a caged octagon with timed three minute rounds, with the winner being decided by either knock out, submission or a judge's ruling.

The event will be presided over by the extremely big and scary Mike Tyson, who will be keeping the fighters in their place. Following the blood and guts of the Championship, things will get a little more civilised with a VIP after show party at the Living Room, where guests will be able to rub shoulders with Tyson himself.

We have a pair of very expensive cageside tickets to give away to one brave Manchester Confidential reader. The tickets also include entry to the VIP after show party, where you could practice your cage fighting moves on Mike Tyson. Actually, no, don't. Bad idea.

To be in with a chance of getting your hands on this great prize, simply fill in your details in the form below.
