BREAKFAST, particularly at the weekend, is an event, and The Albert Square Chop House is living up to the occasion.
It's just launched a new breakfast menu featuring a host of classic dishes. And you can win it here for you and four friends, with a round of Bucks Fizz to wash it down.
Confidential readers receive a complimentary glass of Bucks Fizz or a coffee with every full breakfast ordere
This being a chop house, it has a stunner of a Full English (or a Best of British as it's called here) which features Cumberland sausage, home-made black pud, and slow-roasted tomatoes amongst the other requisites. It looks like it'll be five star hotel standard, but with sensible prices – £8.50 for the meat version, £7 for the veggie.
But don't just go straight to the big one – there are lots of other options that deserve your attention. We like the look of their home-made buttermilk pancakes served with vanilla poached rhubarb and crème fraiche.
And their version of the Savoy Hotel's Omelette Arnold Bennett, made with poached smoked haddock and glazed hollandaise, is a must-try, according to Gordo.
Peruse the breakfast menu to see the full range of options. It's served daily.
Confidential readers receive a little freebie – a complimentary glass of Bucks Fizz or a coffee with every full breakfast ordered. For full details, visit our Albert Square Chop House pages.
