Win A 'Spinal Health' Course!

Published on June 14th 2005.

Are you decrepid and old? Old enough to remember the 80s even? Well even if you’re not, there’s a good chance you could benefit from our latest competition as we strive to look after the good willed people of Manchester.

Not your usual Manchester Confidential competition this one, but nonetheless, we’re giving away a free ‘spinal health course’.

You don’t have to have a walking stick and talk about the olden days all the time to qualify for needing your back fixing, you could spend all week playing football and swimming with sharks and be more qualified than an old age pensioner tramp from Norwich like Marigold. Old Marigold used to direct the Norfolk traffic with bright yellow washing up gloves whilst lying on his back and his legs in the air.

Fact is that someone sat at their desk behind a computer all day is probably more likely to need this spinal health course, whilst your boss who spends all day out on the golf course is at risk as well.

The course you can win consists of a free spinal screening, a spinal X-ray, plus six free sessions, all of which is worth about £800. As your mum always used to tell you, you can’t mess about with your health, particularly things like your back and it’s the kind of thing that can come up and bite you on the backside, although if you tried to do that, you’d probably break your back anyway.

One in six people in the UK suffer from health problems that can be related to potentially poor spinal health. Common ailments like migraines, high blood pressure, gout and kidney disease, all of which means that Gordo is bang in trouble.

So, all in all, this spinal competition isn’t as dull as it originally sounded, it might actually teach you a thing or two. If you’re not having back pain already, this course could save you from years of spinal problems. What would be worse? Sat in the OAP home watching Countdown or being sat in the OAP watching Countdown with a bad back?

And If you are getting a few twinges in the old spinal area, then this course will have you back and ready to Challenge Cessford at bungee jumping and base jumping before you can say “oooooowwww! My back!”

The Gonstead Clinic of Chiropractic in Manchester is the third largest primary health care practice in the western world behind modern medicine and dentistry, and is still one of the fastest growing fields in health care simply because it’s safe, natural, drug-less, non invasive and effective.

Gonstead Clinic of Chiropractic Manchester was founded early 2004 and has been operating in the last year in the city centre and Cheadle. However, the clinic is one of many Gonstead clinics around the world and only the second in the UK. The Gonstead Clinic came from a long history dating back to 1923. The system has been the most researched chiropractic to date, and is the most complete approach to spinal analysis of any form of health care.

Both Dr Graeme Massey and Dr Ross Currie are highly experienced and qualified chiropractors and radiologist. In addition, Dr Graeme Massey and Dr Ross Currie are also the only Chiropractors in the UK to hold official Gonstead Extremity Certification (treating conditions involving arms and legs i.e. tennis elbow, etc), a certification awarded by Gonstead Seminar to less than 40 Chiropractors in the world.
