IF you regularly get Cantonese food cravings and wish you knew how to whip up your own banquets at home, here's some news for you.
The hands-on lesson gives you a thorough grounding in the three disciplines of the Cantonese kitchen: dim sum, roasting and wok-cooking
Manchester food institution Yang Sing is now running a monthly cookery class.
The three hour, hands-on lesson gives you a thorough grounding in the three disciplines of the Cantonese kitchen: dim sum, roasting and wok-cooking. And it includes the opportunity to learn from the restaurant's executive chef and renowned Cantonese food authority, Harry Yeung.
Under Harry's guidance, you'll learn how to prepare several dishes while exploring the theories and history of Cantonese food. It's great for people who want to know how to recreate some Yang Sing magic at home.
Yang Sing cookery classes will be held on Thursday 29 August from 5pm-8pm, Sunday 22 September from 3pm-5pm, and Thursday 31 October from 4pm-7pm.
Classes start from £50 per person. Spaces are limited so get in touch to register your interest or book your place. Just email marketing@yang-sing.com
