How much would you pay for VIP tickets to see Take That at Lancashire County Cricket Club on 24 June, including access to the backstage hospitality area and an overnight stay at the Radisson Edwardian?
The charity Five Stars, who are frantically raising money to buy the new Royal Manchester Children's Hospital a scanner before it opens in the summer, hope you'll pay a decent amount. They're inviting Confidential readers to bid for the above package, with all the proceeds going towards their appeal.
It's a once-in-a-lifetime experience that'll make a Take That fan skip with joy. You'll head to Lancashire County Cricket Club, Old Trafford, to see the city's favourite man-band perform live, before hanging out in the back-stage hospitality area with their friends and family (and fingers crossed, the boys themselves). You'll end the night in your luxurious room at the five-star Radisson Edwardian hotel, with breakfast included the next day. The package is for two people and must be worth a fair wedge.
So send us an email saying how much you're willing to pay for it. The highest bid gets the package. And remember that your money is going to a very good cause. Five Stars want to buy a scanner that reduces the amount of time a scan takes from 45 minutes to 15 minutes – making the experience a lot less frightening for children. The new scanner will also help doctors diagnose cancer and cancer related illnesses more quickly, enabling them to provide early treatment that saves lives.
The bidding is open now and the winner will be announced on site on 18/06/2009.
