Win tickets to see East 17 and 911 at the Palace

Published on October 12th 2007.

Stay another day

With Take That mania in our midst, it comes as no surprise that other nineties teeny bopper groups are jumping on the boy band-wagon. Yes you’ve guessed it, East 17 are the latest act to be resurrected with a reunion tour and we have three pairs of tickets to giveaway.

The awesome foursome put up a mean chart fight back in the day with hits such as ‘Around the World’ and ‘Deep’ but as we all know what goes up must come down. In 1997, lead singer Brian Harvey became a national hate figure after he declared to all and sundry (sundry being hoards of worshipping teenage fans) “It’s cool to take drugs.” Way to go Brian. Whether it was a school boy error or not, it marked the untimely end of East 17.

Just as we thought they’d hung up their high top caps and had the mascot ‘Levy’ dog put down, a decade later, East 17 are ready to give fans one more rendition. Bless their hearts.

Along with the fellow boy band support of nineties chart toppers, 911 and new pop trio Friday Hill, East 17 will be performing at the Palace on Monday 22 October from 8pm as part of the Stay Another Day 2007 tour. Tickets are priced from £18.50 and can be purchased here.

For your chance to win a pair of tickets please enter your details into the form below.
