Manchester loves a market. More specifically, a foreign food market to make the city squares look cute. This time the French (and friends) are invading. They land at St Ann’s Square between 4-7 April.
The market will feature the UK's only mobile boulangerie serving fresh bread, croissants and pastries every day. Baking starts at 4.30am and the market will open each day from 10am to 6pm.
Head of Manchester Markets, Krys Zasada says, "The French Market will be a great place to look for good food and presents to supplement the hot cross buns and the usual Easter eggs. And just to show our range, we're also offering food and items from Germany, Spain and Italy.”
To celebrate this Continental influx we are giving one reader the chance to win a hamper which will include: two bottles of vin de table (red), olives, cheeses, smoked sausage, pate, croissants, baguettes, tarte au pomme, sweets, garlic, soap and oddly enough, a watch or bracelet.
To be in with a chance of winning simply enter your details below and get your entry form, then just complete it and then take it down to the market and hand it in at the jewellery stall. The winner will be picked from the completed entries at 12.30pm on Saturday 7 April. They will then need to collect the hamper from the French Market by 6pm on Saturday 7 April. Bonne chance.
