RSL Competition

RSL (if you’re not familiar, they’re a 9 piece latin-jazz outfit from Manchester) have a show at the Academy on Saturday and we’re looking to really push it in these last few days leading up to it.

Receiving continued recognition from the likes of Radio 1’s Giles Peterson, a Maida Vale session and eagerly anticipated debut LP Every Preston Guild selling fast, RSL’s non-stop Latin-Jazz-tinged journey continues… back in Manchester, where it all began.

For those not in the know, RSL are lead by Joe, Martin and Chas. Three 20 something’s, originating from Summerseat, 8 miles North of the Manchester Metropolis in the United Kingdom. Strange then that the songs they produce should put them somewhere closer to the equator.

With euphoric explosions of sound, warm Latin melodies, and soulful dance rhythm sections with underlying intensity, the Every Preston Guild UK Tour will be an energetic mix of new and traditional influences certain to put them at the front of some serious DJ boxes.

It’s no surprise that they’re being touted as one of the UK’s best new live acts.
