THE Bridgewater Hall hosts its annual favourite ‘The Last Night of the Hallé Proms’ on Sunday 31 July – and ten Heroes and their guests will receive complimentary tickets.
You'll enjoy a top-price ticket, pre-concert and interval drinks in the exclusive Corporate Members’ Bar and the chance to meet some of the Hallé’s musicians. And it's all complimentary, courtesy of the Hallé and the concert's sponsors, Manchester Airport.
The ‘Last Night’ brings the Hallé’s Summer Promenade Concerts to a close in traditional rousing style. All your favourites are here, including Rule, Britannia! and of course, Land of Hope and Glory.
Stephen Bell strikes up the band with a suitably festive overture, a selection of passionate ballet music and highlights from Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition. As we move towards our patriotic conclusion, the mood lightens with songs and music from George Gershwin and Leonard Bernstein.

Shostakovich Festive Overture
Khachaturian Spartacus: Adagio
Prokofiev Cinderella: excerpts
