Pewter tankard, glass tankard, straight glass, what’s your favourite?
Manchester brewer JW Lees has created an alternative that could well trump them all. It’s the grip glass, with fingers and thumb indents. This doesn’t mean you get less of a measure but it does make drinking more comfortable. It’s not a gimmick honestly, try them and you’ll love them. These precious items, which can be used by both left and right-handed people are now being used in JW Lees pubs across Greater Manchester for ale sales. They’ve even been picked up on the Paul O’Grady show, and adored by the Sunday Mirror. They’re an instance of a local brewer being innovative.
There’s also a video called Get a Grip This is set in Manchester City Centre and shows crazy free runner people leaping all over the city landmarks.
Confidential is giving away a case of JW Lees bitter, a case of the feisty classic Moonraker, six Grip Glasses, six drip mats and a pair of the best designed calendars this year based on twisted images of the Grip Glass- check out the images below for March and November. All you have to do is identify in the Get a Grip video which pub the free runners finish up in.
To be in with a chance of winning simply identify which pub the free runners finish up in, from the video link above. Fill your details into the form below and we’ll pick a winner at random.
