Fancy learning to climb? Manchester Climbing Centre is offering one lucky reader a beginner’s climbing course to get you scrambling around like Spiderman in no time…

Dizzy Heights

Spiderman makes it look so easy… just climb up this building, hop across to that, swing over this river and you’re away. But for those of us who don’t have super human powers and mutant arachnid tendencies, there’s Manchester Climbing Centre.

Since opening its walls eighteen months ago, Manchester Climbing Centre has seen75,000 climbing sessions take place, bestowing many a Mancunian with mountain goat like powers.

The centre, which is situated inside a renovated grade II listed Benedict church in Ardwick, has recently added two new climbing walls as well as an additional bouldering area, creating a total of 1,500 sq metres of wall space and making it one of the largest climbing facilities in the UK.

To celebrate their 75,000 climbing sessions, Manchester Climbing Centre are offering a lucky Manchester Confidential reader the chance to learn how to climb, with a beginner’s course.
