With the British National Squash Championships just around the corner, we have teamed up with Manchester City Council to offer three readers the chance to attend any of the first five days of the tournament.
The National Championships, which run from 9-15 February, are again taking place in the state-of-the-art National Squash Centre at Manchester’s Sportcity; the series of venues originally built to host the 2002 Commonwealth Games.
As the pinnacle domestic event of the season, reigning champion James Willstrop will be looking to retain his title on the special ‘hovercraft’ show court. The latter is the engineering marvel that floats into position on a rubber cushion providing a perfect view of the on-court drama for all spectators.
If you’re a player of the game, an addict already or just want to experience sport played at full speed by some of the world’s top performers, then please answer the following question:
a) Nick Matthew
b) Lee Beachill
c) James Willstrop
Further information and tickets for the National Squash Championships can be found online at www.nationalsquashchamps.co.uk. Alternatively tickets can be purchased via Ticketmaster by phone on 0844 847 1688
