Weds April 8, 2009......New baby for Coleen, Grobbelaar on Hell's Kitchen and more

Published on April 8th 2009.

Pans won't be the only thing reaching boiling point when feisty Bruce Grobbelaar gets down with Marco Pierre White as a contestant in the new series of Hell's Kitchen starting on April 19.

It's not clear whether the ex-reds goalkeeper will use the catch of the day in his signature fish dish, or whether White will disallow it as the hand of cod.

The single to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Hillsborough tragedy has got to No 20 in the charts.

Fields of Anfield Road, featuring Liverpool footballers and pop stars past and present, can be bought at LFC outlets and on iTunes. All proceeds to the Hillsborough Family Support group.

Lib-Dem Steve Hurst has lost his appeal at Liverpool Crown Court against a conviction of breaking election law. Hurst had repeatedly denied delivering a leaflet entitled “Walton Scab,” attacking Labour Belle Vale councillor Pauline Walton and her husband in the May, 2007, council elections. The leaflet did not include the name and address of the printer and publisher, which is against the law.

Cllr Hurst was originally fined £500 and ordered to pay £790 costs and a £15 victim surcharge. He will now also have to pay £750 appeal costs.

Coleen Rooney has confirmed her rumoured pregnancy, saying it is "the best thing that's ever happened" to her.

The wife of footballer Wayne, who is already thought to be an expert in toddler tantrums, was spotted at the Grand National in a floaty dress, fuelling speculation.
