A 32-YEAR-OLD MAN has been charged with the murders of a family of three who were found dead in their home in Fallowfield last week. Pierre Williams of Selly Oak, Birmingham, is due before Manchester magistrates charged with three counts of murder over the deaths of Beverley Samuels and her two children. The three were found beaten to death in their home and died from severe head injuries.
A DOCTOR from Whalley Range has abused his position by dishing out around 60 prescription only drugs at a dinner party. GP Graeme Wilson told the disciplinary court how he reassured guests that the Tramadol pills were not harmful. However the drugs, which are prescribed as a painkiller, made guests extremely ill.
A SOLICITOR dubbed ‘Mr Loophole’ from his success of defending the rich and famous against driving offences, is now fighting his own battle against Manchester City Council. Nick Freeman has accused the council of being greedy for charging him to park on land he owns outside his Oxford Court offices. The £6,400 bill is back-dated to last year. The Council claim all private spaces have a rateable value and they must collect the money on behalf of Central Government.
WEST HAM have blocked United from carrying out a medical on Carlos Tevez. The striker who arrived in the city last night with his family was due to undergo the medical at Old Trafford today. However, a club is not allowed to give a medical without the player’s current club agreeing.
