FANCY DRESS FUNERAL FOR FRANK SIDEBOTTOM: A private service will be held for family and friends of Chris Sievey- the man behind the comedy character Frank Sidebottom. The funeral will take place at Altrincham Crematorium on Friday and whilst there is no dress code, mourners are invited to wear fancy dress to celebrate the life of the comedy hero.
A MICHAEL JACKSON FLASH MOB marked the anniversary of the death of the singer on Saturday by performing the ‘Thriller’ dance outside HMV on Market Street. The routine was organised by Rochdale dance teacher Barrie English who runs Michael Jackson dance classes at Sunshine Studios in Manchester city centre.
