INVESTIGATION PROBE AS GIRL AGE THREE, FOUND DEAD: Greater Manchester police have launched an investigation as a three year-old girl was found dead on Thursday evening. Police were called to Lea Mount Drive, Bury at 7pm amid concerns about the child's welfare. Police also discovered a woman in her thirties, believed to be the child's mother, with slash wounds on her wrist.

TEACHER ACCUSED OF DRUG RING REPORTEDLY HELPED PUPILS CHEAT: A teacher accused of mastering a drug ring reportedly encouraged pupils to cheat. Mohammed Sarwar, 30 is accused of running a criminal gang while teaching IT at Burnage Arts college. Mr Sarwar was arrested and suspended and irregularities were later found in his work. Head teacher Ian Fenn said: “Weaknesses have come to light since he left the school relating to the teaching side”.

FLAT FIRE KILLS WOMAN IN CHEADLE HULME: Firefighters were called to a flat in Cheadle Hulme early this morning amid a blaze in a ground floor property. The crew discover the body of an elderly woman found dead at the scene. The cause of the fire is now being investigated.

EVICTED NEIGHBOUR MOVES BACK TO SAME STREET: A ‘neighbour from hell’ who was evicted after a £10,000 year long battle, has moved into a second home on the same street. James Saunders was evicted after claims him and his partner threatened to petrol bomb a young gay couple who lived nearby. Less than a month after being convicted, Saunders moved in with a friend on the same road.
