EAR CHEWED OFF THEN SPAT OUT: A 53-year-old man was attacked in the Morning Star pub, Thomas Street, Radcliffe at 10.30pm on Tuesday. A man approached the victim and bit part of his ear off and spat it out onto the floor before leaving the pub. Detective Constable Martin Brown from Bury CID said: “This was a horrific assault that has left the victim disfigured and in a lot of pain. Someone in the pub knows who this man is and I would urge them to contact us as soon as possible.”
NOEL GALLAGHER TO PEN CITY ANTHEM? POLICE INVESTIGATION INTO CRASH: The Independent Police Complaints Commissionhas started an investigation after a driver died shortly after being pursued by police in Windsor Road, Hyde on Monday.The car crashed into a garden wall and the 25-year-old driver died at the scene, police confirmed.
