A NEW HOTEL is to be built at the Trafford Centre. The 200ft tall, 15 storey hotel will dominate the skyline at the shopping complex. CAMPAIGNERS will present a 10,000-strong petition to Downing Street today, against plans for a £400m Titan prison in Warrington. The 'American style' prison was proposed to be built on the Omega Business Park in Burtonwood and would house 2,500 inmates. the pizzas are very good there
There's no such thing as too much gossip, or publicity for that matter! ; )
City Desk...! good call on Destino they have the best wholemeal toast in the city and no one is allowed to make coffee untill they are perfect at it...! and I am told their new piazza/pasta chef is the best in the city.
Having just "eaten me tea" at Croma, I was walking down Pall Mall towards King Street when my attention was grabbed by hundreds of twinkling tea-lights in Destino. I engaged the pleasant chap who owns the place in conversation and discovered that they are now open on Friday & Saturday evenings (last orders 10pm). I asked him if he had let anyone (e.g. Confidential) know about the new arrangements. He said that MARK from Confidential had been in. Wassup Gordo, did another Ithaca p***-up destroy those memory cells? Where's the review of this local business? If it's good we should be supporting such ventures. More info please.
i think that Steve has had more than enough publicity(and gossip)on this site
Just to let you know. We're meeting up with Steve in the next couple of weeks.
