<b>Tuesday 5 May:</b> Police rammed in Rusholme, online restaurant ratings and toys spell trouble for Morrisons

A POLICE CAR HAS BEEN RAMMED in Rusholme. The unmarked police car stopped after seeing a large group gathered on Sunday evening. The group began to run off and a police officer noticed a man, who he believed to be wanted, get into a Golf. The officers tried to stop the car by blocking it in but the driver rammed the police car around four times before driving away.

A SIX-YEAR-OLD GIRL has been left badly burned after her clothes caught alight as she danced next to a gas fire. Iqra Ashraf suffered 60 per cent burns to her body following the accident in the living room of her Stockport home. Her elder sister heard her screaming and put out the flames with her hands. Iqra is now being treated at Booth Hall Children’s Hospital.

RESTAURANT RATINGS for diners in Oldham can now be accessed via Oldham Council's website. The 'scores on the doors' initiative allows the public to view the hygiene rating of a food business following their latest food hygiene inspection. Residents who want to see the latest inspection report for a local restaurant, take-away or retailer can view them here.

EDUCATIONAL TOYS bought from a supermarket in Dukinfield have been found to contain a number of obvious spelling mistakes. The alphabet building bricks, which are made in China, include a picture of an umbrella and the word 'Umberlla' and a boat with the word 'Yatch'. Morrisons said they will continue to sell the toys until replacements arrive.
